In August 1972, the Ugandan government under Idi Amin decreed that all Ugandan Asians must leave the country in 90 days and that they must take only what they could carry. Thousands of Indians, many of whom were born and brought up in Africa were suddenly rendered stateless. Kololo Hill is the story of one such family.
