Noah Hawley serves as the creator, director, and executive producer for the series which is based on the Coen brothers’ film of the same name. All of Us Are Dead to return for second season Netflix’s hit South Korean series All of Us Are Dead is set to return for a second season. The show is inspired by the webcomic, Now at Our School, and follows the students of Hyosan High School who must survive a zombie apocalypse after a science experiment goes wrong. David Oyelowo to star in Role Play Award-winning actor David Oyelowo, who is best known for playing Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2014 film Selma, has been cast alongside The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco in the upcoming thriller Role Play. Oyelowo and Cuoco play a married couple in the film directed by Thomas Vincent. Seth Owen, who has written films such as Morgan and All-Nighter, serves as the screenwriter. Tales of the Walking Dead to release in August Tales of the Walking Dead, the highly awaited spin-off of the post-apocalyptic horror series The Walking Dead, is expected to release on August 14th. The series with six standalone episodes stars Olivia Munn, Samantha Morton, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Jillian Bell, and Loan Chabanol, among others. Kathryn Hahn to star in Tiny Beautiful ThingsWandaVision actress Kathryn Hahn has been cast in the upcoming series Tiny Beautiful Things, which is based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling novel of the same name. The eight-episode series is about a woman who writes advice columns under the pen name Sugar. The series is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, Jayne Lemons, Strayed, and Hahn. The Sandman to premiere on Netflix in August The Sandman, the live-action series based on Neil Gaiman’s critically acclaimed comic book series is set to premiere on Netflix on August 5th. The series features Tom Sturridge as Dream, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, and Boyd Holbrook as The Corinthian. Gaiman, Allan Heinberg, and David S. Goyer serving as executive producers. Six actors join One Piece Langley Kirkwood, Alexander Maniatis, Celeste Loots, Steven Ward, Craig Fairbrass, and Chioma Umeala have joined the cast of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the manga series One Piece. The series features Iñaki Godoy in the lead role of Monkey D. Luffy with Kirkwood playing Captain Morgan, Maniatis appearing as Klahadore, Loots as Kaya, Ward as Mihawk, Fairbrass as Chef Zeff, and Umeala as Nojiko. Netflix cancels The Midnight Gospel After Raising Don, Archive 81, and Meghan Markle’s animated series Pearl, Netflix has canceled another adult animated show, The Midnight Gospel. The show created by Pendleton Ward and Duncan Trussell will not be returning for a second season although the first season was praised by critics and audiences alike.
