The red band trailer for the sci-fi horror film Divinity has surfaced, offering a haunting glimpse into a twisted, dystopian reality. Directed by Eddie Alcazar, Divinity takes viewers on a surreal journey, unlike anything seen in contemporary cinema. The trailer, a mesmerising fusion of stop motion and live-action, plunges the audience into an otherworldly human existence. It introduces Jaxxon Pierce, the keeper of an immortality serum called “Divinity”, who becomes the target of two enigmatic brothers. With only a mysterious, seductive woman as his hope, the film captivates with its black-and-white aesthetic, evoking a classic 80s horror atmosphere. The film stars Bella Thorne and Quantum Leap’s Scott Bakula in lead roles. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and the Taormina Film Festival, receiving several plaudits. Divinity is expected to release in theatres on Nov 3.
