Jessica Henwick and Hugo Weaving join Julia Garner for a new thriller film Hugo Weaving, the star of the original Matrix trilogy and V for Vendetta, will join Game of Thrones, Iron Fist, and The Matrix Resurrections star Jessica Henwick in an upcoming Australian outback thriller. Directed by Kitty Green, the film will be produced by the team behind The Power of the Dog. Titled Royal Hotel, it will also star Ozark, and Inventing Anna actress Julia Garner.     Joseph Gordon-Levitt to team up with Rian Johnson again for a new series Natasha Lyonne, the star of Russian Doll, will join Joseph Gordon-Levitt for a new series by Peacock called Poker Face. Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Knives Out director Rian Johnson will helm the project, and it will be the third collaboration between himself and Gordon-Levitt. The plot for the series revolves around Natasha Lyonne’s character, who unravels murder mysteries in each episode.    Noel Fielding to star in new Apple TV+ series about Dick Turpin  British actor Noel Fielding is set to play the role of Dick Turpin in an upcoming comedy series for Apple TV+. The story is loosely based on the 18th-century highwayman and renowned horse thief, Dick Turpin, who robbed people at gunpoint. After his death, he would become an urban legend, with exaggerated accounts of his life retold several times through poems and novels.    Unni Mukundan film Shafeekinte Santosham adds Divya Pillai and Athmiya Rajan  Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan’s upcoming film, Shafeekinte Santosham, has added Divya Pillai and Athmiya Rajan to its cast. Written and directed by Anup Pandalam, it is expected to be a comedy-drama, with  Manoj K Jayan, Bala, Sminu Sijo, Shehin Siddique, and Mithun Ramesh, playing supporting roles. The production is set to commence on April 16.    Josh Brolin to return for Dune sequel Hollywood star Josh Brolin has announced that he will reprise his role as Gurney Halleck, the weapons master of House Atreides, in Denis Villeneuve’s sequel to the multiple Academy award-winning film Dune. His character’s fate was left unresolved by the end of the first film and in an interview with Collider, Brolin confirmed that he will play a significant part in the sequel.   Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma to star in new film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma are set to reunite, after the success of Antim: The Final Truth, for the upcoming film titled, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. They will essay the roles of brothers, with relative newcomer Zaheer Iqbal playing the role of a third brother. Salman Khan will also produce the film with speculation that Farhad Samji may take over the reins as director.   Ghost of Tsushima movie in development  Sony Playstation’s hit video game from 2020, Ghost of Tsushima, is set to be adapted into a live-action film. Directed by John Wick director Chad Stahelski, and written by Takashi Doscher, the film will tell the story of Jin Sakai. The plot will follow Jin in Feudal Japan as he fights to save his island of Tsushima from the Mongol invasion. The film is among the several Sony exclusive video-game adaptations announced this year, including the recent Uncharted film, the highly anticipated The Last Us HBO original series, and the God of War series.
