Sizzling samachar first up, Evil season 3 announces release date  The popular horror series Evil is returning for a third season. The new season will premiere on the 12th of June this year. The series, dubbed as the modern-day horror version of The X-Files, stars Luke Cage actor Mike Colter in the lead along with Katja Herbers. The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore will return for a sixth season while The Rookie starring Nathan Fillion will return for a fifth season.     India Amarteifio joins cast of Bridgerton prequel  Shonda Rhimes’ new series, a spinoff to the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, has added India Amarteifio as its lead. The Line of Duty star Amarteifio will play the lead as a younger version of the monarch Queen Charlotte. Golda Rosheuvel, who essays the character in Bridgeton will reprise her role in the spinoff series.   Paul Herman dies at 76  Paul Herman, the star of iconic TV shows such as The Sopranos and Entourage, as well Martin Scorcese’s acclaimed Netflix film, The Irishman has passed away at the age of 76. The tragic news was confirmed by his representative T Keaton-Woods.     Jemima Kirke and Nico Tortorella join the cast of a new Apple TV+ crime thriller  City On Fire, a new Apple TV+ crime-thriller series has added Jemima Kirke and Nico Tortorella to its cast. The Yellowjackets, Arcane, and Army of the Dead star, Purnell,  will join Walter Goggins for the TV series produced by Amazon Studios.   House of the Dragon announces release date House of the Dragon, the prequel series to Game of Thrones, has announced that the first episode will premiere on the 21st of August. The story is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and will focus on the Targaryen dynasty, with Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and Matt Smith playing pivotal roles. Miguel Sapochnik, the popular director of some of the biggest episodes of Game of Thrones such as ‘Hardhome ‘, ‘Battle of the Bastards’, and ‘The Winds of Winter’, serves as showrunner along with Ryan Condal.
