The film also marks the comeback of Franco after a three-year break following sexual misconduct accusations.The Forgiven to hit big screens in JulyThe Forgiven starring Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Chastain, and Matt Smith is set to hit theatres in July this year. Based on Lawrence Osborne’s novel of the same name, the film revolves around a couple whose lives take a turn when their vehicle hits a pedestrian while driving through the desert in Morocco. The film is helmed by John Michael McDonagh.Scott Eastwood to return to the Fast & Furious franchiseThe latest instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise titled, Fast X, has added Scott Eastwood to its cast. He will reprise the role of Little Nobody, a government agent who was the right-hand man of Kurt Russell’s character Mr Nobody. Captain Marvel star Brie Larson was also added to the cast, with several of the cast members from the most recent films expected to return. Louis Leterrier recently replaced Justin Lin as director after an alleged falling out with lead actor Vin Diesel.Apple TV+ announces new Godzilla seriesWandaVision director Matthew Shakman is set to helm a new live-action Godzilla series for Apple TV+, produced by Legendary. The series is set in the same universe as Legendary’s MonsterVerse and is set after the events of the battle between Godzilla and King Kong in the film Godzilla vs. Kong. Chris Black and Matt Fraction will serve as executive producers for the show and it is expected to be an Apple TV+ original.HBO series Barry renewed for season 4Hit HBO series, Barry, starring Bill Hader has been renewed for a fourth season. The series has received an eight-episode order with Hader directing all of them. The black comedy crime series is about a hitman who explores the theatre and arts in the wake of an existential crisis. Co-created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader, the third season is currently ongoing and is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
