Jacob Vargas joins Disney+ series National TreasureUpcoming Disney+ series National Treasure has added Sons of Anarchy and Mayans MC actor Jacob Vargas to its cast. Vargas, who will appear in a recurring role, will play Rafael, a treasure-obsessed and good-humored man. Based on the 2004 film National Treasure and its sequel National Treasure: Book of Secrets, the series stars Lisette Alexis in the lead. Florence Pugh to star in series adaptation of East of EdenMidsommar and Little Women star Florence Pugh will star in and co-produce the series adaptation of Josh Steinbeck’s novel East of Eden. Acclaimed actress and screenwriter Zoe Kazan is writing and executive producing the Netflix series. Interestingly, Kasan’s grandfather Elia Kazan directed the movie adaptation of the novel in 1955. Zoe Kravitz to play the lead in heist thrillerZoe Kravitz, who was most recently seen in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, is set to play the lead in Warner Bros’ heist thriller titled, The Sundance Kid Might Have Some Regrets. Shamshera makers release teaserThe teaser of the highly anticipated Bollywood film Shamshera gives a glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor’s character who is described as the savior of his tribe. Sanjay Dutt also plays a pivotal role in the film which is slated to release on July 22. Directed by Karan Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra, the period action film also features Vaani Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Saurabh Shukla, Ronit Roy, and Tridha Choudhury, among others.
