An Indiana Jones television series is currently in development with Disney+. The iconic character of Indiana Jones has had a religious fan following since Harrison Ford debuted the character in Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981. Disney is set to expand on this dynamic character and maybe take it in an alternative direction. These revelations followed closely after Harrison Ford stated that he will be done with the role after the release of the fifth film. The team is still in need of a head writer but Disney and Lucasfilm are quite confident about this new venture.
