Sizzling Samachar of the day – 7th Feb 2022 Welcome to Sizzling Samachar of the day on OTTplay, I’m your host Nikhil Sizzling news first up,   Sanjay Dutt ventures into production   Sanjay Dutt has launched a production company under which the first project is already in the pipeline. This production company is called Three Dimension Motion Pictures and is currently bankrolling a horror-comedy The Virgin Tree, which will be directed by Sidhaant Sachdev. The slate also includes other projects that have been kept under wraps for now.  The company will back both films for theatrical releases and shows for streaming platforms.    Apple TV+ show Pretzel and the Puppies to debut on 11 February   Apple TV+ is debuting a new animated show Pretzel and the Puppies, based on Margret and H.A. Rey’s classic picture book series. The show of eight episodes will centre around a canine family consisting of a stay-at-home father, a Mayor mother and their five puppies. The Morning Show star Mark Duplass and Aladdin actor Nasim Pedrad are a part of the voice cast of the show, premiering on the streaming platform on 11 February.    Louis Hoffman, Nell Sutton join Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie in All The Light We Cannot See   Netflix’s adaptation of All The Light We Cannot See has added Dark’s Loius Hoffman, Nell Sutton and Lars Eidinger, among others. They will join Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie in the four-part limited series adapted from Anthony Doerr’s eponymous Pulizter-winning novel. The series will follow a blind French girl and a German soldier during World War II, and will be directed by Peaky Blinders helmer Steven Knight.    J.J. Abrams’ Presumed Innocent series greenlit at Apple   A limited series, adapted from Scott Turow’s well-known novel Presumed Innocent, has been greenlit at Apple TV+. The eight-episode show will be helmed by David E Kelly. Kelly is collaborating with J.J. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot. Kelly (apart from serving as writer) will also executive produce the series with Abrams. Presumed Innocent follows the events revolving around the murder of Carolyn Polhemus and how it upturned the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s setup when one of the working members came under the radar of suspicion.    Apple TV+ Docuseries Lincoln’s Dilemma to premiere on February 18   Lincoln’s Dilemma, a four-part docuseries, based on former American President Abraham Lincoln is set to premiere on Apple TV+ soon. Narrated by Jeffrey Wright, the series will feature Bill Camp and Leslie Odom Jr as Lincoln and Frederick Douglass, involved in fictional conversations with each other. The docuseries attempts to chart ‘The Great Emancipator’s’ political outlook and what measures he took against the discrimination of races. Told from the perspective of Black historians, this series will aim to uncover the true image of Lincoln.    The Horror of Dolores Roach greenlit at Amazon Studios    Amazon Studios has ordered a series, adapted from the popular podcast series, titled The Horror of Dolores Roach. The thriller and black comedy show will feature Justina Machado (One Day at a Time) as the protagonist. The plot follows a former convict who is pushed to extremes in order to maintain the sanity that she has earned with considerable difficulty.
