Malayalam actors Lal and Lena to make their OTT debuts, NFL legend Tom Brady to produce comedy film for Paramount and other top news from the world of entertainment.
Ryan Murphy announces a unique Netflix documentary on Andy Warhol Ryan Murphy’s latest project, a documentary on artist and filmmaker, Andy Warhol, will feature the use of artificial intelligence to recreate the life of the iconic artist. The six-part documentary is titled The Andy Warhol Diaries and will have director Andrew Rossi also involved in the project. Upcoming dark comedy titled, Chariot, starring John Malkovich, acquired by Saban films Saban Films has secured the rights for the upcoming Adam Sigal’s dark comedy, Chariot. The film stars John Malkovich, as a doctor who oversees the reincarnation of individuals. The story revolves around a young man named Mann, who has a chance encounter with a woman he loved in his previous life, which causes a glitch in the reincarnation process. The film is expected to release in theaters later this year. NFL legend Tom Brady to produce comedy film for Paramount The recently retired NFL legend, Tom Brady, is set to appear in and produce a comedy film for Paramount Pictures. Titled ‘80 for Brady’, the film will feature Hollywood legends Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. The film is set to be an American football themed road trip movie. Upcoming series Immigrant adds Dan Stevens to its cast, while Renfield also adds a new cast member British actor Dan Stevens, popular for his roles in Downton Abbey and Legion, has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series Immigrant. Kumail Nanjiani stars as Somen “Steve” Banerjee, and the plot revolves around the creation of the male dance venue Chippendale. In other casting news, the upcoming horror comedy film starring Nicholas Hoult, and Nicholas Cage about Dracula’s former sidekick, Renfield, has added Black and Blue star, James Moses Black. The film also stars Awkwafina and Ben Schwartz and is directed by Chris McKay. Skyler Samuels, Sienna Guillory, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta joins Meg 2 The sequel to the 2018 monster action film, Meg, has added Skyler Samuels, Sienna Guillory, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta to its ensemble. The film titled Meg 2: The Trench will feature Jason Statham’s character Jonas Taylor returning to face the prehistoric giant shark, the Megalodon. Ben Wheatley will direct the project. Malayalam actors Lal and Lena to make their OTT debuts Veteran Malayalam actor Lal is set to debut on OTT in the Netflix series titled Soup, produced by McGuffin productions. He joins a host of Malayalam actors and actresses who have recently signed on for various OTT releases. Actress Lena is also set to make her OTT debut this year on a major streaming platform, sources have confirmed OTT play.
