Mumbai Recognised As 'Tree City Of The World' By United Nations

Mumbai has added yet another feather in its cap by winning the global title of 'Tree City Of The World' by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations jointly with Arbor Day Foundation. Mumbai received this recognition for its "commitment to growing and maintaining urban trees and greenery in order to create healthy, resilient, and happy cities" says BMC's garden department.
