Sell-off continued in Indian equities as markets dived another percent on Friday. The BSE Sensex ended at 59,306.93, down 677.77 points or 1.13%. The Nifty was at 17,671.65, down 185.60 points or 1.04%. Among sectors, Realty, Consumer Durables, and Auto gained the most, while Banks and IT indices fell.
UltraTech Cement, Dr. Reddy’s, Maruti, Tata Steel, and Titan were top gainers in the Sensex. Among laggards were Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, and L&T.
