The Indian Embassy in Ukraine capital Kyiv on Tuesday asked its nationals, particularly students whose stay is not essential, to leave the country temporarily “in view of uncertainties of the current situation”. “Indian nationals in Ukraine, particularly students whose stay is not essential, may consider leaving temporarily. Indian nationals are also advised to avoid all nonessential travel to and within Ukraine,” the Embassy of India in Kiev stated.
Lalu Prasad, head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former Bihar chief minister, was convicted of fraudulent withdrawal of ₹139.35 crore from Doranda treasury in the fodder scam case by a CBI special court in Ranchi.
